Kevlon Cold Tank and Carbon Remover is a unique blend of specially selected powerful solvents, organic acids, surfactant stripping agents and preservatives that effectively breaks down the adhesive bond of most organic substances. It penetrates, emulsifies, softens and removes heavy carbon and gum deposits, paints, rubber, tar, grease, oil, varnish and other carbonaceous soils from metal surfaces. Kevlon Cold Tank and Carbon Remover is non-flammable and works even without heating.
Kevlon Cold Tank and Carbon Remover is used for removal of carbon, varnish, fuel, sludge and hard baked deposits formed under high temperatures on engines and motor parts, exhaust valves, burner tips, fuel oil heaters, cylinders, armatures, carburators, pistons, etc. It is also used to remove paints and burned insulating varnish of electrical windings and dry rubber from metal surfaces.
Test on small area before applying on plastic, paint or rubber to determine compatibility. Application may be done by spraying, brushing or soaking. After cleaning the surface, hose off with compressed air to remove loosened dirt, grease and other particles.
